My professional and personal experiences have all led to my love for working in real estate. For ten years I was the director of marketing for a direct marketing company. During this period I designed marketing campaigns and graphics, wrote blogs, created websites, and online marketing sites.
As a Landscape Architect for the Tahoe National Forest I was privileged to design a handicap fishing platform, a trail, the interior of a forestry office in Sierra Valley, and produced the Yuba Donner Scenic Byway nomination request and master plan.
As a Jr Forester and wildland firefighter for the California Department of Forestry and Fire (now CalFire), I grew my appreciation for the forest ecosystem and my knowledge of protecting our beautiful resources.
While I was the Executive Director of the Grass Valley Downtown Business Association I worked with business owners on marketing, display design, economic development and also produced many events such as 4th of July Parades and Fireworks, Cornish Christmas events, craft fairs, food and wine tasting events and fundraisers.
While I was on the Design Review Committee for the City of Grass Valley I learned first hand how committees could affect small businesses. This experience opened my eyes to a side of politics I had not seen.
I live and play in South Reno. Although my neighborhood is South Reno and I am close to Galena Forest Estates, Montreux, Arrowcreek, Saddlehorn, Field Creek, Double Diamond and Damonte Ranch, I also do Real Estate business in Sparks, Spanish Springs and Carson City.
I bought my first home in the mid 1980’s with a 16% interest rate. I knew when I was young that owning Real Estate was a great privilege and a strong investment. After many fulfilling jobs and careers, I find myself benefitting from those experiences which are contributing to my success as a Realtor.
